Metsa Machines, LLC, a subsidiary of Taylor Strategic Ind., is making its debut in the Forestry & Outdoor Product industry as the United States’ exclusive distributor of Japa Firewood Processors and Ultratec ATV trailers and accessories.
Patrick Taylor, president of Taylor Strategic Ind., established Metsa Machines, LLC in Merrill, WI, earlier this year with the intention of expanding access to a variety of wood processing and outdoor equipment currently unavailable in the United States.
“Forestry is hard work,” says Bob Nelson, Metsa Machines general manager. “The equipment we provide needs to live up to the work ethic of our clients. If they’re working hard, then their machinery should be working hard, too. It’s what’s great about this industry – it is full of hard workers making sure that the right machines are available to other hard workers.”
Metsa Machines, LLC debuted the Japa Firewood Processors and a few other high-quality Finnish outdoor products at several industry trade shows this past fall, and are currently seeking dealers nationwide.
