Scott Miller has been named the new leader of GE Johnson. Miller began his 22-year career with the firm as an intern while attending Kansas State University. While not retiring, Jim Johnson, firm president, will gradually step away from his day-to-day responsibilities while continuing to provide support for key customers and pursuits as well as champion firm culture and community engagement.

Scott Deitle has joined CSHQA as senior architect III. He brings 15 years of architectural experience to the firm, previously focusing on K-12 school design across Montana and Colorado.

Lauren Kolek has joined CSHQA as a project architect II. During her nine years in the AE industry she has worked on projects ranging from higher education, health care, industrial, commercial and residential.

PETRA Inc. has promoted Brett Myron to president and CEO. Myron brings nearly 30 years of construction industry experience to the position, the last 18 with PETRA. In his most recent role as PETRA president and co-owner, he helped to expand the contractor’s portfolio into Montana, Northern Idaho, Seattle and Colorado Springs.

Morrison-Maierle has promoted Riley Olson to the role of Wyoming water-wastewater market group office leader. A licensed professional engineer in Montana and Wyoming, Olson’s recent work includes the Gillette 2020 Water Main Replacement Project and the West End Water Treatment Project.

H.W. Lochner Inc. has established a new national aviation practice, expanding the company’s commercial, general and military aviation service offerings following the recent acquisitions of Armstrong Consultants and K Friese + Associates. Chris Nocks will lead Lochner’s Western division, overseeing operations throughout Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. He brings to the role more than 20 years of experience serving as a principal and engineering operations manager for Armstrong Consultants and as a captain/civil engineer officer in the U.S. Air Force.

Alex Kosis has joined Simpson Gumpertz & Heger’s building technology group in Denver. He brings more than 15 years of experience in the industry, specializing in roofing and waterproofing system design and repair and thermal analysis for optimal building performance. Kosis spent 11 years with SGH to start his career, joining the firm as a technical intern in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office and advancing to senior engineering positions in its California offices.

Environmental engineering firm Brown and Caldwell welcomes Allan Luk as senior director of digital solutions. Luk brings 23 years of tech industry experience to the role and will partner with the firm’s technical subject matter specialists to develop and implement emerging digital solutions to help solve clients’ complex challenges related to aging infrastructure, climate change impacts and the increasing cost of water.

HOK’s Denver studio has promoted Candace Todd to senior regional practice leader. Ryan Byrnes joins the firm as director of design, interiors.

Jeff Allen has been named chief financial officer at Encore Electric. Allen’s previous experiences include roles at two Fortune 500 companies and one of the Big 4 accounting firms. Allen replaces Greg Ast, who will transition from the role of CFO to serve Encore Electric as executive vice president.
