Sloan Security Group has been in business in Boise for more than 30 years and has worked on hundreds of military, embassy, industrial and commercial perimeter-security projects.

The firm’s services include security design consulting, access control points, intrusion detection systems, perimeter fencing and gates, crash-rated barriers, barrier maintenance and cameras and sensors. Sloan’s comprehensive security service offerings provide contractors a single point of contact for complex security construction projects.

Sloan recently expanded its offerings to feature control systems, including a proprietary digital/analog control panel. Sloan has also added to its surveillance system line-up with the use of compact surveillance radar to direct cameras. 

The firm has worked in more than 30 states and internationally, including designing and installing security for US Embassies in Moscow, Oslo, Port Moresby (Papua New Guinea) and Nouakchott (Mauritania). Sloan also is expanding its Colorado and Utah presence. 

Sloan’s key projects underway across the Mountain States region include:

• Confidential Regional Utility Client. The project includes installation of fencing, gates, and barriers at four different switchyards and substations.
• Utah State Prison. The project includes installation of fencing, gates, barriers, and other perimeter structures to enclose the prison. Sloan is manufacturing the gates in Idaho and installing them in Utah.
• Confidential Military Client. The work includes installation of fencing and barriers at a high-security federal military base.
• Denver Mint.  Work includes installation of crash-rated bollards to protect the federal building from vehicle threats.
