Rick ProsserCiting double-digit annual growth over the past two years, Raleigh-based engineering firm McKim & Creed announced the hiring of Rick Prosser to the newly formed position of chief growth officer. Prosser, with 22 years of engineering industry experience, recently served as a vice president with AECOM, where he oversaw a 300-person unit. His responsibilities include growth, financial performance, project delivery, strategic direction, performance management and client engagement.


Todd FultzPlaza Construction hired Todd Fultz as managing director of its newly opened Central Florida office covering Tampa and Orlando. Fultz, who has more than 20 years of construction experience, previously served as vice president for Manhattan Construction and, before that, as a project executive for DPR-Hardin Construction.

Claudia BilottoClaudia Bilotto was named transportation and infrastructure area manager for the Atlanta office of WSP USA, formerly WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff. Bilotto joined WSP in 2014 as an assistant vice president and planning/environment manager. She previously served as an associate vice president and highway and corridor planning practice leader for a national engineering firm.


Dan SouthwickDewberry has promoted Dan Southwick to the position of president for its design-build practice, which includes higher education and telecommunications projects. He is based in Raleigh.

 

 

Joe EstradaAlso in Raleigh, Joe Estrada has joined the firm’s energy infrastructure group as a power generation expert and senior project manager.

 

 

 

Sam FlemingThe firm also promoted water expert and department manager Sam Fleming to associate vice president in its stormwater and resilience department. Fleming is based in Atlanta.

Michael DorweilerIn Tampa, Michael Dorweiler has joined the firm as a senior project manager. Previously, Dorweiler worked for a transportation firm in Tampa, supporting transportation services across Florida and the Southeast for state departments of transportation and local governments.

 


Daniela CastellonDaniela Castellon has joined Choate Interior Construction Co., Atlanta, as director of business development. Castellon will focus on corporate, adaptive reuse, health care and hospitality projects.

 

 


Keith HowardKeith Howard has joined HDR’s Sarasota office as Florida solid waste program lead. He recently directed Lee County’s  solid waste division and managed a long-term planning effort as well as development of landfill cell expansions, a material recovery facility, a composting facility and a waste-to-energy facility.

 

The Associated Builders and Contractors of the Carolinas announced the election of Casie Sears Kerr of Raleigh-based specialty contractor Sears Contract Inc. to the position of 2018 chairman.

Jim HoltjeJim Holtje was promoted from senior project manager to manager of special projects for PCL Construction’s transportation infrastructure group in Raleigh. He joined PCL in 2004.  Also in Raleigh, PCL promoted Eric Chavez to construction manager from project manager. He joined PCL in 1998.

 


Julian RamirezPond hired Julian Ramirez as director of preconstruction services for its Peachtree Corners, Ga., headquarters. He has more than 15 years of civil engineering and construction management experience.

 

 


Seth LondonLeChase Construction Services, Durham, N.C., promoted Seth London to vice president. He previously held the position of regional operations manager. London had served in that role since joining the firm as part of its 2016 acquisition of local Lendlease operations in North Carolina.
