The next issue of ENR Southwest is almost ready for reader and industry review

 

As usual, this September we will have a presentation of the Top Specialty Contractors survey. We will also present the firm chosen as the Specialty Contractor of the Year. The Specialty Contractor of the Year is collectively selected by the regional and executive editors of Engineering News Record. This year, the firm selected for the honor is Corbins Electric of Arizona.

 

Corbins Electric was founded in 1975 by Bill Corbin. In 2001, long-term employee Mark Fleming, took over the company. Last year, a new group of industry veterans and Corbins staff led by CEO Justin Martin and CFO Jessica Grant purchased the company. The new owners have charted a new path and have quickly implemented many digital innovations that are hallmarks of today’s most effective and efficient companies.

 

Corbins Electric performs work in a variety of markets and has offices in Phoenix, Albuquerque and Tucson. The company also engages in the commercial, industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, education and federal among others. Specialized services include power distribution, low to high voltage work, critical power systems, underground utilities, NAVAID installations, renewable energy and much more.
