For builders interested in learning more about off-site construction, look no further than the National Association of Home Builders’ Offsite Construction Week. From September 20 through 22, builders can attend six webinars on various topics hosted by industry members. Webinars will cover various types of building systems, how to use them for different projects, and an overview of the off-site construction industry.
“Whether it’s manufacturing with precision-cut lumber alternatives more efficiently in a factory setting or lumber alternatives like structural insulated panels [SIPs], prefabricated concrete walls or log home packages, systems-built construction can help home builders mitigate supply shortages,” stated Brian J. Sielaff, P.E., P.Eng, 2021 Building Systems Councils chairman and CEO of Tamarack Grove Engineering, a structural engineering firm in Bosie, Idaho.
Offsite Construction Week provides builders with an opportunity to learn more about the offsite construction industry, including the various types of building systems available, and how they can be utilized for different projects.
