This first phase of the Village Towers mixed-use development included a six-story, Class-A office building with 120,000 sq ft of rentable space and a 420,000-sq-ft seven-story open parking garage with 20,000 sq ft for future development. 

The team tightened the scheduled Aug. 1 completion date by 60 days because the leases of two office tenants expired May 31. To accomplish this, the contractor called in teams from three divisions.

Three 850-lb azul marble slabs for the lobby and second and sixth floors took three weeks of demanding installation. 

Landscaping work included the installation of eight mature oak trees with large root balls.
