Maryland Bans Polystyrene and Enacts 31 other New Environmental Laws

The Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) may adopt regulations to implement the bills. Senate Bill 516 (passed) increases the RPS from 25% by 2020 to 50% by 2030 and makes other related changes.
