Environmental Protection Agency has released a draft National Recycling Strategy and is seeking public comment through December 4, 2020, with the goal of finalizing it in early 2021. This draft identifies strategic objectives and actions needed to create a stronger, more resilient U.S. solid waste recycling system.

The Phase l Environmental Site Assessment Standard E1527-13 will sunset in late 2021, eight years from its approval on November 6, 2013. Task Group, after more than a year of work, has balloted a draft revised standard and results are expected as early as next week. The ASTM E50.02

At worst, Maryland could have been criticized along with the Federal government and other states, for failing to regulate PFAS as a hazardous substance.
