who currently are not "in the model", they certainly could benefit from better access to the model, and LT could potentially do that. These divisions, while relevant to the architectural model, are ruining the possibilities of creating gbXML files without extensive work on the part of the engineer to remove the room separation lines, and then repair the damage done to the room names and numbers. Joe - in the examples he offered it isn't "poor" modeling.

For example Ive tried to draw squares and cubes, even circles and spheres to test the extremes and predict the trigger of the error messages Ive written about before. Turned out that somehow there was a Room Tag 69,000,000 feet from the model. Book - Introducing Revit Architecture. Yes, that's 69 million. Revit OpEd.

Over here on the MEP side, we will take an hour to make, say, an air handling unit per the 2-D selection drawings from the vendor, add the necessary connectors, then 'load into project' We will then save it as a stand-alone family, with a useful file name, in a server folder with the vendor's name. 11:20 AM.
