Autodesk is releasing a "Subscription Advantage Pack" which will basically wrap a bunch of things that were released by themselves for subscription members, plus add new things like New Features. This workaround involves drawing a repeating detail line (with imported text) on top of a simple detail line. Goto Drafting. Now draw a detail line in any view of your project. Draw your repeating detail over your new detail line as though tracing the detail line. Autodesk Seek. Autodesk University.

Last night I was able to download and install Building Design Suite 2017 from my Autodesk subscription account. Autodesk has their own interpretation of what are big new features and sometimes I agree. Autodesk released Revit 2016 R2 like they did with Revit 2015 the year before. You can select draft or production quality.

To add to the complexity, the as-built drawings we had on file were not accurate to the true construction of the existing structure because the original architect had improvised the design during construction. The office I worked for didnt use Revit for developing working drawings but I do remember wishing that I could add text to linestyles (for phone, elec, gas, etc) and I remember having trouble understanding phases but I got a lot of help from users on Zoogdesign (now AUGI).
