Remodels in Revit. Anyone who has developed a custom remodel residential project can tell you its not as simple, clean, or intuitive as a custom new construction residential project. I have to say that remodels in Revit MEP do NOT work well at all. Remodeling is really harder than just starting from scratch.

Is this a remodel or new construction project? We design traditional, high-end residential work. Marathon Drafting. Google Sketchup. I went to a 2 day training class and some self exploration is as much as I know. My boss asked me to put a project we did in CAD into ReVit. It seems to be very frustrating is this normal?

Some large buildings are made for residential purposes where a large society can fit in and some buildings are made for only one single-family to live in.
