The doors are tested for large-missile impact, cyclic load, air infiltration, water, and a design pressure of +/- 60 per square foot. 

Automated Skylight by Marvin

The Awaken Skylight by Marvin is a culmination of years of in-depth consumer and industry research, the company says. The automated, customizable unit mimics the soft glow of daylight after the sun has set and helps regulate indoor temperatures and air quality automatically with intelligent rain and environmental sensors. Steel Garage Door From Overhead Door

Overhead Door has expanded its Model 5800 Impression Steel Collection of garage doors with two new textured wood-grain finishes: Red Walnut (in recessed panel, shown) or Weathered Gray, expanding upon the existing selection of eight premium and standard finishes, which includes Desert Tan, Gray, Terra Bronze, Black, White, Almond, Sandstone, and Brown. Doors offer oversize windows and come with foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation with an R-value of 12.

Square Simulated Divided Lite Casement Window

Jeld-Wen has updated its Siteline collection with the addition of square simulated divided lites, a feature that allows customers to incorporate clean, contemporary style in new construction or repair and remodel projects. Addressing market design trends toward square, clean lines, Siteline windows are built with the company’s AuraLast wood protection technology and come in 27 exterior colors and
13 interior finishes.

Slim Sliding Doors From NanaWall

The SL84 aluminum-framed system from NanaWall is the slimmest, most thermally efficient line of folding glass walls available on the market, the manufacturer says, with a frame profile of just 3 7/8 inches of exposed hardware. The product uses continuous seals along the face of each panel frame, while two levels of insulating thermal breaks provide optimal defense from heat or cold. The SL84 can be ordered in heights up to 11 feet, 6 inches with frame widths up to 3 feet, 7 inches each.

Simpson Door Co.’s new Monster Door collection offers units up to 12 feet tall and 10 feet wide, addressing the need for larger and more personalized spaces in the home. The doors are available in any wood species and design, and can be mounted on popular alternative hardware, such as barn track (shown). Monster Doors are available for both interior and exterior door applications.

Rechargeable Battery Wand From Hunter Douglas

Hunter Douglas has introduced a new rechargeable battery wand for its for PowerView automated shades. Discreetly concealed behind the headrail, the product is easy to remove, recharge, and replace and doesn’t mar the beauty of window treatments, the company says. The rechargeable battery wand can be installed with most shade styles and can also be retrofitted to existing Hunter Douglas automated window treatments. A battery charge lasts up to one year.
