Each of the four supersized cranes, known in the maritime industry as Super Post-Panamax, are 400-feet tall with the boom fully raised, can reach 22 containers across on a ship and can lift 187,500 pounds of cargo. The 50-foot deep container berth was completed in 2012, two years ahead of its original schedule.
