It can be seen from the diagrams above that the joints in the precast frame are made at positions of minimum bending moment. However for the ease of precasting, the skeletal frame joint is formed near the beam-column connection as shown below. Skeletal Frame: The correct position for the skeletal frame joint is shown below.
