This interim document contains our current views on best practices in the use of task and delivery order contracts, in particular multiple award contracts, as authorized by the Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act (FASA). These contracts are commonly known as indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) or umbrella contracts.
