This blog will highlight some of the common questions and cool tips found in the process of transitioning our office to Revit. Well, when you're in the family editor you can draw symbolic lines, model lines or reference lines. Symbolic lines only show in plan, elevation, or section depending on which view you're in when you draw them. Model lines will show in ALL views because they are part of the model.

This work is requested often because the documents they are using are not created from models to begin with. A Friday thought. I quite enjoy it.

I owned professional licences of AutoCAD, Revit, Studio Max for many years. I had my first training in Revit in 2004 and get around it OK.
