The Port currently has service by two Class I railroads, Norfolk Southern and CSX—both offer double-stack service to critical manufacturing and population centers. The P3 project is a 50-year agreement between the Maryland Port Administration (MPA) and Ports America Chesapeake to lease and operate the 200-acre Seagirt Marine Terminal.
