In December 2002, the former U.S. Naval Air Facility in Goodyear, now known as Phoenix/Goodyear Airport, was designated as an MRZ. This program allows an approved business to offer an income tax credit to investors purchasing an equity investment in the business. Currently there are two MRZs in Arizona.
