The Santa Teresa and Columbus ports-of-entry have overweight cargo zones with a six-mile radius for trucks carrying a reducible load up to 96,000 lbs. New Mexico has three ports of entry bordering Mexico, all overseen by the New Mexico Border Authority with varying degrees of service: Santa Teresa, Columbus and Antelope Wells.
