The Port currently has service by two Class I railroads, Norfolk Southern and CSX—both offer double-stack service to critical manufacturing and population centers.

A business that applies for the exemption must enter into an agreement with the Governor of Alabama. Naval Air Facility in Goodyear, now known as Phoenix/Goodyear Airport, was designated as an MRZ. The business must sign a job-creation agreement under the Advantage Arkansas program within 24 months of signing the Tax Back agreement.
