Champlain Valley Specialty is renovating and expanding a former onion packing site into an apple processing facility.

Construction of the TDC is planned to begin in early 2013 with completion targeted for late 2014. Since breaking ground on Fab 8 in 2009, the project has created approximately 2,000 new direct jobs, 9,000 new indirect jobs, and more than 10,000 new construction jobs. Fab 8 is the most advanced semiconductor foundry campus in the world.

In 1999, AIDT constructed a $30 million, 62,000-square-foot Honda Training Center in Lincoln—replete with classrooms and assembly line replicas—to lure the auto manufacturer. Navy to construct 10 new warships. One of those firms, Austral USA, an Australian shipbuilder, just received a $5 billion contract from the U.S.
