The primary service territory of the organization is Lancaster County and its primary focus is on Business Retention and Expansion (BR&E), Business Attraction, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (E&I) and Community Competitiveness. This year was no exception and, as always, it was difficult to narrow the field.

Our 2016 awards include recognition for the locations that have led the way in smart-grid modernization, innovative funding for infrastructure projects, renewable energy breakthroughs and new tools for supporting startups and entrepreneurs.
