The region has in excess of 20 aviation and aerospace-related companies, employing approximately 9,000 workers.

Small Producer Credit (AS 43.55.024(c)): Credit of up to $12 million per year for taxpayers incurring eligible oil and gas lease expenditures in North Slope operations.
