The location on I-20, rail served by Union Pacific and Foreign Trade Zone #165 makes Midland a prime location for distribution and manufacturing. It is hopeful that the feasibility study will indicate, as have preliminary analyses, that benefits of the channel project should exceed its $300 million cost.
