Construction is underway on two wind farms with power purchase agreements in place, according to the Nebraska Energy Office, the 118-turbine Prairie Breeze Wind Energy Farm located near Elgin and a 43-turbine project near Broken Bow. In November 2013, a new generation of biofuels debuted at this Penn Minnoco station in south Minneapolis.
