Inspect fire brick and mortar joints for cracks or breakage. Where applicable, add an approved safe winterizing/anti freeze agent to water to prevent freezing. Pump out water. Manhole (Water, Steam, and Fuel Oil). Application: This standard applies to manholes which contain water, steam system, fuel oil or other systems.
