The 442nd session of the Maryland legislature adjourned on April 12, 2021. The bill applies prospectively to new construction for which a building permit is issued on or after October 1, 2021. The bill also requires a retailer to store neonicotinoid pesticides in a manner that is inaccessible to customers without assistance.
