We currently have 4 Revit projects under construction, but not all of our projects made it through the CD phase. To add to the complexity, the as-built drawings we had on file were not accurate to the true construction of the existing structure because the original architect had improvised the design during construction.

Ive been doing construction documents in Revit for the past three years and dont have any renderings to show from that time. The only other images I have are photos of projects completed or under construction. Is this a remodel or new construction project? Marathon Drafting. Chief Architect.

Once the principals saw the data loss and loss of efficiency from such workarounds they got over the look of the documents. especially as documents became a secondary deliverable to the coordinated BIM. HOKs CAD Standards describe a Data Leader as someone "responsible for the execution of the CAD strategy including, the use of BIM, the folder structure and file-naming strategy, use of templates, and documenting specific project procedures." In our office Data Managers are starting to inspect models for proper construction. at 8:42 PM.

This solution was concieved under deadline pressure and I have stuck with it through to construction documentation and so far havent had any adverse reactions due to using this method. Marathon Drafting. Chief Architect. Then in the Element Properties/Extents - change the scope box the the new scope box name.

Quite often we need to organize our plots for different submittal package sets (Schematic Design Presentation, Land Use Permit, Plan Check, Construction Admin, etc). Now you can do the same for each of your submittal packages (LUP for Land Use Permit, ConDocs for construction documents, etc). Marathon Drafting.
