A white paper recently released by the Kauffman Foundation finds that Kansas City and other areas viewed as “new” startup high-tech hubs actually are benefitting from many years of nurturing a local culture of entrepreneurship. “Entrepreneurs come from somewhere—this seems obvious,” the white paper says.
