An expansion of I-69 across southern Indiana began in September 2009. The County also approved the funding for the Town of Lanesville and the Harrison County Regional Sewer District to cooperatively extend a sewer line from the Lanesville Treatment plant.

Alabama Infrastructure Grant Program: Funds are available to public entities for extension of water, sewer and road facilities to service new or expanding industries. ALABAMA INFRASTRUCTURE GRANT PROGRAM: Funds are available for extension of water, sewer and road facilities. Eligible projects include adding or improving sanitary sewer systems, water systems, streets, roads, and storm sewers. The credit may be claimed for individuals hired before July 1, 2009.
