Employers who fail to provide personal protective equipment (PPE) and training to all employees may be fined with a separate penalty for each unprotected or untrained worker, according to OSHA. And preventing accidents and decreasing the risk of harm should be sufficient motivation for employees to wear PPE as much as possible.
