In 2001 the MRZ designation was renewed for the former Williams Air Force Base, now known as Williams Gateway Airport. Naval Air Facility in Goodyear, now known as Phoenix/Goodyear Airport, was designated as an MRZ. Program regulations are currently being drafted to include the expanded definition for “Advanced Manufacturers.”

JOB TRAINING PROGRAM: Originally set to expire in 2011, the Arizona Competitiveness Package extended the program an additional five years until December 31, 2016 and modified the definition of a “rural area.”. $25 A business or portion of a business involved in the maintenance of aircraft is not eligible.
