Youll notice you can select a Floor Plan or Detail View callout. Select Detail View and draw a callout in plan view. Now place a building section in plan view that intersects the callout region. Find Consultants. Architectural Desktop. Select the callout and goto its properties. CDV Systems.

Quite often we need to organize our plots for different submittal package sets (Schematic Design Presentation, Land Use Permit, Plan Check, Construction Admin, etc). We decided that we also wanted to be able to sort the sheets in our project browser (and our drawing lists) by Submittal Package. and check the category Drawing Sheets.

Go to a floor plan view and hit the light bulb to reveal the two new coordinate system icons (the survey point triangle and the project base point circle). you can draw a simple building and link in a simple building (by shared coordinates) and move these two icons around a bit (clipped and unclipped) to see how the two models react or.

This workaround involves drawing a repeating detail line (with imported text) on top of a simple detail line. Now draw a detail line in any view of your project. Draw your repeating detail over your new detail line as though tracing the detail line. Find Consultants. Architectural Desktop. CDV Systems.

This wall is the sum of two 9 tall extruded shapes in plan view. We used to complain that CAD drawings looked horrible and now that concept has nearly been forgotten. When, at first, we relied heavily on Revit's wall cleanup capabilities our contractors thought we were stupid cause we couldn't draw. Find Consultants.
