I was in charge of a project schedule and used technology often. They just had to click on a model on the iPad to get this high level of detail for the project. We pulled it into a Navis model , mapped out a swing radius for them and got a plan in place over the course of several intensive meetings.

I think that model is what we’ll continue to see moving forward. . I can carry it around on my iPad and in my safety vest. Aside from just doing reality capture, some of these companies use photogrammetry to create 3D models of the site conditions. That point cloud then gets compared to your BIM models and schedule.
