The 442nd session of the Maryland legislature adjourned on April 12, 2021. Maryland has been described as having more pages of environmental statutes and regulations on a per capita basis than any other state. The new laws compiled below add to that already very green environmental regulatory scheme.

A package of local government bills introduced on January 29th aim to ensure that Montgomery County, Maryland remains at the sustainability forefront. Bill 3-14 would require newly constructed buildings of 10,000 square feet or more or extensively modified buildings to achieve a Silver certification in the appropriate LEED rating system.

The capital credit is used only after all other deductions, losses or credits permitted under Titles 40 and 41 of the Code of Alabama 1975. Applicants must meet the same qualification criteria as Advantage Arkansas and must be approved by the Arkansas Economic Development Commission.
