Go into any architectural consultancy employing people from different parts of the world and soon you’ll find two of them arguing about the way hinging of doors must be represented on drawings. One school of thought says: the dotted lines form a symbolised arrow (symbolised symbol?) and indicate the opening of the door.

Ive been teaching our office how to use Revit Architecture. When a wall is selected you might notice two blue dots at either end of the wall. Grab this blue dot and stretch the wall to any length you want. If you are drawing a wall or a line there is a pallet of line shapes that you can draw (square, polygon, circle, arc, etc.)
