There is one organisation visibly missing from the list (as published so far) of corporate sponsors and it is, Autodesk. Autodesk has sewn up the HK market. Autodesk has sewn up the HK market. Traditionally, a value that was represented on a drawing may not correctly corresponded with the value within the specification simply due to a ‘typo’ An example being where a ’60 minute fire door’ has been recorded on the drawing but has been recorded as ’90 minutes fire rating’ within the specification.

This workaround involves drawing a repeating detail line (with imported text) on top of a simple detail line. Goto Drafting. Now draw a detail line in any view of your project. Draw your repeating detail over your new detail line as though tracing the detail line. Autodesk Seek. Autodesk University.
