In an Architectural Record article " Getting on Board with Building Information Modeling " Larry Flynn describes a Data Manager as someone "responsible for coordinating the various computer files and models that are integrated into a BIM." Some food for thought: Could it (read that as "it will") be better to let the walls be modeled as they will be built (with dead spaces in between), rather than using in-place walls that simply mimic old methodologies, like CAD or Hand drawn lines filled with poche or hatching? It is more suited to a model that is about graphics.
