At present, the NBS National BIM Library objects are classified using both the draft Uniclass 2 Work result code and the System name to give a deeper link between the object and specification. All BIM objects have properties, and most also have geometries (although some do not, for example a paint finish).

The Data Manager. Some people refer to these individuals as Data Managers or Data Leaders. In an Architectural Record article " Getting on Board with Building Information Modeling " Larry Flynn describes a Data Manager as someone "responsible for coordinating the various computer files and models that are integrated into a BIM."

I get regular updates through my FB page on how the big event of The Hong Kong Institute of Building Information Modelling (HKIBIM) planned for the 13 th of December is shaping up. 3/ information management tool providers (unlike in manual drafting days) got given an unprecedented opening to influence a globally active industry.

Once you have your building(s) modelled start a new project. Link your building(s) into your new site model and adjust their elevation and orientation so they are properly located in the topography. While in your site model goto Tools. Save your site model. Manage Links. ArchiCAD vs Revit. Marathon Drafting.
