Youll notice you can select a Floor Plan or Detail View callout. Select Detail View and draw a callout in plan view. Now place a building section in plan view that intersects the callout region. Interior elevation tags from the first floor plan were mysteriously showing up on the second floor plan. Thats because if the top of the crop region for an interior elevation view intersects the primary range (bottom clip plane) of the floor plan above, then the interior elevation symbol will show in the floor plan above.

Legend views can be placed on multiple sheets but placing these images in a legend view can crowd your project browser so I would stick to drafting views unless you absolutely need the added function of placing the image on multiple sheets like for key plans as an example. If you go to View Properties youll notice that for orientation you only have a choice between Project North and True North, but what if you need to work in plan views that are orthagonal to each building? Your post on pads has come at an opportune time for me, have you come across a situation where toposurface sub regions & pads appear in plan views where the site is cut. These sub regions and pads are on a higher level than the plan view cut height and cut earth should be what is seen. We design traditional, high-end residential work.
