You just linked a developed Revit model into a new project file and you cant seem to find it. If I just imported a project and I cant seem to locate the imported model the first thing I do is setup my radar. Open each view individually and zoom all (ZA) until you find the model you are looking for. National BIM Standards.

Once an as-built model is done you might want to archive a copy of the model just incase the design scope changes and you have to start all over again with a clean as-built. I completely understand the desire to replicate your graphic standards and the like but in-place families mostly detract from a BIM, rather than add to them. Plus in-place families detract from performance of the team, model and file.

If you know photoshop, using this software is a snap. It loaded viewing the model from the bottom of the floor, under the building.
