Some food for thought: Could it (read that as "it will") be better to let the walls be modeled as they will be built (with dead spaces in between), rather than using in-place walls that simply mimic old methodologies, like CAD or Hand drawn lines filled with poche or hatching? Leave the name Drawing List. The Drawing List on our coversheet shows ALL the drawings from ALL the different packages.

In the options bar youll notice that you can "Reference other view" (for referencing a drafting view that is already present). Just draw a reference plane at the angle you want (and in the location you want for your section line) then place your section line adjacent to the reference plane. National CAD Standards. The first thing is I dont think the next big innovation will really be in what we might call the traditional "CAD (Computer Aided Design)" space. So if "Revits" replacement does not really interest me (because I dont think there really will be one perse). What am I interested in?
