We would have to build separate models by different standards (less accurate for CDs) if we wanted to take advantage of that. What you get out of your model depends on what you put into it.

We often have split level projects and weve had a lot of trouble isolating the stem walls and footings from the rest of the model for use in a foundation plan. In Visibility/Graphics go to Model Categories and uncheck everything except Detail Items and Walls.

If you don’t initiate worksets early on you’re going to have to assign every model object to a workset after they’ve already been created and that can be a lot of unnecessary work.
