Ive been teaching our office how to use Revit Architecture. Friday, July 23, 2010. like the change is some new data for the model. I upgraded a model once, from Revit 2009 to Revit 2011, and an odd thing happened. This can reset data in the model. Im a Revit Beginner with an architectural office in Santa Barbara.

We often have split level projects and weve had a lot of trouble isolating the stem walls and footings from the rest of the model for use in a foundation plan. In Visibility/Graphics go to Model Categories and uncheck everything except Detail Items and Walls.

If you don’t initiate worksets early on you’re going to have to assign every model object to a workset after they’ve already been created and that can be a lot of unnecessary work.
