Green building will remain mandatory for new construction in Montgomery County, Maryland and effective December 1, 2017, the International Green Construction Code 2012 will be a permitted alternative. In large part, as a result of that law, Montgomery is touted as the county with the most LEED building in the nation.

Last night I was able to download and install Building Design Suite 2017 from my Autodesk subscription account. With little fanfare Revit 2017 is here, brandishing a slightly changed big R logo. We'll see a need for upgrading from 2016 to 2017 files but not from 2016 to 2016 R2 files. You can select draft or production quality.
