You just linked a developed Revit model into a new project file and you cant seem to find it. If I just imported a project and I cant seem to locate the imported model the first thing I do is setup my radar. like the change is some new data for the model. I upgraded a model once, from Revit 2009 to Revit 2011, and an odd thing happened. This can reset data in the model. build your as-built model in the existing phase. Once an as-built model is done you might want to archive a copy of the model just incase the design scope changes and you have to start all over again with a clean as-built. The model builder is going to have to do partial demolition of walls, floors, roofs, ceilings, etc.

First off (before you get upset at my comments) You guys are doing great work for Revit and BIM!!! I completely understand the desire to replicate your graphic standards and the like but in-place families mostly detract from a BIM, rather than add to them. Plus in-place families detract from performance of the team, model and file.

The survey needs to be a part of the Revit model or Revit wont consider it when exporting your site plan to DWG.
