Amrax’s Metaroom allows teams to create 3D models of rooms and entire buildings using an iPhone Pro or iPad Pro.

We had a lot of sway over the design development documents, sequence of the job, and bid packages. We were doing self-performed steel, so our crews were erecting the steel on site. They just had to click on a model on the iPad to get this high level of detail for the project.

I don’t want to reinvent the bid package or the spec section or this or that detail. I think that model is what we’ll continue to see moving forward. . I can carry it around on my iPad and in my safety vest. That point cloud then gets compared to your BIM models and schedule. That has always been a challenge.
