Using the Assemble Systems iPad app, we can track site installation of critical path work. In this session, we’ll explore use of issues in design coordination, model coordination, construction safety, quality, and commissioning. They’d use that information to gauge their progress, identify issues early, and report to clients.

AR can also be used to showcase 3D models and even provide tours, giving clients a solid idea of what a building would look like before it’s built. These labels can then bring up text or even 3D models to communicate safety or hazard information. Akular brings 3D models into the user’s physical environment.

While in school, I got to work with a really strong suite of software including products like AutoCAD and Revit among others which boosted my interest. They just had to click on a model on the iPad to get this high level of detail for the project. Innovation is one of Miron’s corporate drivers.
