Ive been teaching our office how to use Revit Architecture. Wednesday, August 19, 2009. We have one model that was started in Revit before we knew any of the limitations of Revit. The model is not clean enough to develop construction documents so we have passed along that task to another architect. National CAD Standards.

My journal of work in Revit as part of a 600+ member architecture firm. Could the issue be coming from linked CAD files and not Revit files? As you may recall, if a linked CAD file is in a project that has Shared Coordinates then Revit can throw this error due to xref & Acad issues. User can open Model B and SWC to fix.

We often have split level projects and weve had a lot of trouble isolating the stem walls and footings from the rest of the model for use in a foundation plan. In Visibility/Graphics go to Model Categories and uncheck everything except Detail Items and Walls.
